Carl Zeiss Foundation Stipend Program

Master students

The Carl Zeiss Foundation funds a qualification scholarship program, which supports up to 4 MSc students in the HEiKA Graduate School on Functional Materials per year.

Support includes not only a stipend of 800€ per month for a year, but also enabels scholarship holders participation in the HEiKA Graduate School on Functional Materials, thereby providing the opportunity to learn and network on the doctoral level.

Doctoral researchers

The Carl Zeiss Foundation Stipend Program is a part of the HEiKA Graduate School on “Functional Materials”. The program offers 20 stipends for doctoral researchers. Both national and international students can apply. Currently all positions are filled.

Furthermore, the Carl Zeiss Foundation provides funding opportunities for prospective doctoral researchers who want to conduct research under the supervision of one of the five new Principal Investigators of the Cluster of Excellence 3DMM2O. Interested young researchers are invited to apply for advertised positions on topics predefined by the Principal Investigators.

At the moment, positions in the groups of Principal Investigators Kerstin Göpfrich (B1, Uni HD), Gerardo Hernández-Sosa (B2, KIT) and Franziska Thomas (A1, Uni HD) are advertised. Please click on the calls to find out more.
