Cluster Office
The Cluster is aiming for scientific goals that must be achieved in a joint effort of all scientists. In order to enable the scientists to concentrate on their research, it is necessary to outsource the management of the organizational issues to a long-term and competent partner. The Cluster Office, coordinated by the International Department gGmbH, is located in Karlsruhe and Heidelberg and focuses on the tasks below:

- Coordination and controlling of processes and meetings
- Coordination of Advisory Boards and international cooperation partners
- Controlling and reporting of funds
- Accounting processes of general Cluster budget
- Project and budget planning preparation
- Administration of Carl Zeiss Foundation Focus@HEiKA
- Facilitation of networking between locations, Research Areas & Thrusts
HEiKA Graduate School
- Graduate School admissions
- Coordination of Young Scientists´ program & networking measures
- Development of training program, e.g., Scientific and Management Modules
- Coordination of English-taught MSc track "Materials Science & Engineering"
