The Master's program is for students with an accomplished degree in natural science or engineering (see below). Candidates with other equivalent but less common degrees (e.g. Mechatronic, Nanotechnology) will also be considered.
The decision whether a degree is considered equivalent is made by the admissions commission in accordance with the examination committee (see the access statutes for more information).
For the MSc in Materials Science and Engineering we consider applicants who have accomplished degrees in:
- Materials Science
- Materials Engineering
and related disciplines.
Students are expected to have thorough knowledge in:
- Metals and Materials Physics
- Functional Materials
- Higher Mathematics
- Technical Mathematics
- Experimental Physics
- Inorganic and Applied Chemistry
