Events

The Cluster 3DMM2O organizes a wide array of events for Cluster internal as well as external audiences.

The annual Cluster Conference “Future 3D Additive Manufacturing” promotes exchange between Cluster members and scientists working on topics related to the Cluster’s research goals, whereas the Lecture Series on 3D Printing facilitates collaborations and provides an opportunity to network on a more regular level. Within our Public Lecture Series, PIs from our Cluster explain the research in their groups and present previous successes to a wider audience.

The Summer Program intends to support and encourage especially female pupils to learn more about STEM.

With our exhibitions, we aim at letting the public dive into the fascinating research of the Cluster.

The ZEISS Makerspace @ KIT is a joint initiative of ZEISS, the Institute for Functional Interfaces at KIT and the Cluster of Excellence 3D Matter Made to Order. It provides a space for everybody to experiment and realize their build ideas. Workshops that qualify for the use of the Makerspace take place regularly.
